ESL 6050 - Advanced Spoken English Skills for Graduate Students

This course focuses on cross-cultural communication, American English pronunciation, and the presentation/teaching skills necessary for interacting effectively with student in the American classroom, both in graduate level classes and in undergraduate labs and discussion groups. Cross-cultural communication, including cultural differences in educational settings will be addressed, including specific strategies necessary to increase your comprehensibility and engage other students in presentation and classroom/lab settings.
