NURS 2500 - Pre-Nursing LEAP: Innovations in Patient Care

This course will be an innovation-cased, problem solving approach to explore current issues in the delivery of patient care, and investigate and ultimately propose solutions that create a better patient experience. The primary goal is to engage in the process of developing innovative ideas to initiate change in healthcare. Specific topics in the course will vary, however issues will be related to nursing practice and nurse-sensitive patient outcomes. Students will participate in project-based activities involving interdisciplinary thinking. this course is restricted to Pre-Nursing LEAP students.
