Learn what the stock market is, what a stock is, what causes the stock market to move up and down, historical facts about the stock market, basic investment strategies in the stock market, terms used by radio and television programs about the stock market, and how bonds relate to the stock market. After taking this class you will better understand your personal 401k and other investments, as well as understand daily commentary from news organizations about the performance of the DOW, NASDAQ, and S&P 500. The purpose of this class is to help you understand simple investment concepts, which will hopefully reduce investment related stress and help you make better investment decisions.
