Welcome to THE MACHINE! Scary, sinister, insidious, or just plain crazy? Use all kinds of odds and ends and put them together to make a crazy complex machine that does something ridiculously easy! Take Rube Goldberg's drawings and bring them to life! How about an elaborate system of levers, ramps, balls, and springs to pop a balloon? Or maybe a system that takes two minutes of spinning discs and whirring wheels, just to light a candle? Design, build, and test your very own Rube Goldberg machine. Then, combine with other machines to create crazy contraption that will do something amazingly easy! Use physics, problem solving skills, and creative thinking to create a labyrinthine solution to common tasks!
