PROED 804 - Fire Service Leadership Academy: Leading an Agile Organization, Phase Two

The Fire Service Leadership Leading an Agile Organization Certificate program addresses the unique educational development needs of fire service professionals who want to continue to expand their leadership skills. Designed in cooperation with the Salt Lake Valley Fire Alliance, the Leading an Agile Organization certificate requires participants to complete two phases of 2-day intensive training programs. Phase Two of the training builds on the skills learned in Phase One while also touching on new areas of application, including, how to develop teams of trust and collaboration, budgeting concepts unique to the Fire Service, project and productivity management, and an understanding of domestic terrorism: gang violence that could have a serious impact locally. In addition, the Fire Service Leadership Academy also provides a great opportunity to network with and learn from experiences of other fire service professionals from across the state. Upon completion of both Phase One and Two, participants shall receive the University of Utah Fire Service Leadership Academy Level II certificate.
