LLPOT 740 - Public Speaking

Did you know the number one fear of most Americans--greater even than the fear of death--is public speaking? No wonder there's always a bit of nervousness when we are called upon to put our speaking skills to use for our schools, churches, or community/civic groups. In this class, we will explore the basics of how to create a great presentation, how to overcome anxiety, how to use non-verbal communication during your presentation, and how to build a good relationship with our audiences. And of course, we will practice, practice, practice -- the only sure-fire way to become more confident with our presentations.
