Description
You've heard about gardeners who harvest spinach and kale all winter, and you know the man down the street harvested his first tomato weeks before you did. How do they do it? Spend a morning visiting and learning from experienced gardeners and experiencing their gardens in action. You'll see how gardeners extend the growing season with hoop houses, cold frames, and other weather-modifying methods; we'll also discuss which crops grow best in Salt Lake's winters. Finally, we'll touch on maximizing garden production.
