Description
Meets with ANTH 6272. This is an advanced course in forensic anthropology. The course uses human osteology, archaeology, and other anthropological research methods in the analysis and interpretation of human remains for the medico-legal professions. Students carry out bibliographic research on current methods, analyze an individual skeletal case, prepare a professional forensic report, and testify on the results in mock court. One mock exhumation is included. This course may be taken simultaneously with ANTH 2220 or 4271.
