Description
Did you know that you can make your bones stronger by stretching your muscles? Learn how to protect your bone health while getting a great strength-inducing and stress-reducing workout with yoga. In this class you will be introduced to the essentials of yoga and, through practice, gain the confidence to do a full yoga routine while caring for your bones. Find out how to become more agile, stronger, and more balanced in your body and mind while protecting your bone health. This is a great exercise class if you have low bone density or osteoporosis or want to reduce your risk getting them. Wear layered, loose fitting clothing. Bring a yoga mat and a full size wool (or similarly heavy) blanket. No quilts please.
