Description
Our universe is made more amazing when we are guided to perceive the many "hidden worlds" that scientists seek to understand. These range in spatial scale from dust particles to whole galaxies. Prominent University of Utah researchers will share what their microscopes, field notebooks, and telescopes have revealed to expand what we know about those parts of our world that are not apparent to our eyes: rainforest canopy biota, medicines in tropical rainforests, extra-galactic planets, tiny insect societies, plant poisons, and, closer to home, the hidden worlds in southern Utah's rocks, soils and civilizations.
