LLART 155 - Holga Photography: Fine Art from a Toy

Free yourself from your dependence on technology, precision, and sharpness as you learn to embrace the imperfections of a toy camera. Using color and black-and-white 120 film, we will experiment with and master the Holga 120N, a favorite of art photographers world-wide and reminiscent of the Diana from the `60s and `70s. This class will be an exercise in rule breaking and will give you a new perspective on your own photography. Learn to lose control and see the world in a whole new light! Please bring a Holga 120N camera and a roll of 120 film to the first class (cameras and film can be purchased at Amazon.com or locally from Pictureline).
