Description
Introduction to basic concepts and methodology in cancer epidemiology. Review of current epidemiologic research in cancer from the perspective of 1) specific cancer sites, 2) exposures such as tobacco and alcohol, and 3) specialized areas such as genetic and molecular epidemiology. Topics also include cancer prevention, cancer databases, the global burden of cancer, screening, and behavioral research.
