OSHER 140 - Spanish: Getting Started

Learn the basics of pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar, and develop a cultural awareness about everyday life in the Spanish-speaking world. We will focus on development of oral-aural skills through conversations and discussions in a relaxed and congenial atmosphere. This class can be repeated to build the confidence and skills needed to move to a continuing class. To fully benefit from this class, you must be willing to spend time outside of class practicing and studying. This course is for students with little or no Spanish language skills.
