NURS 796 - 001 Practice-Based Evidence
This course focuses on approaches to comparative effectiveness research (CER) with emphasis on practice-based evidence (PBE) study design. It will be offered on campus in a 3-day intensive format (24 hour + web enhancement). PBE is a prospective, observational cohort design that does not artificially restrict patient variability and accommodates multiple and concurrent interventions. Course includes examples of PBE study results and utilization, as well as how to plan, conduct, and analyze PBE studies.
