Prerequisite: FCS 5250.
Description
This course examines social and emotional development during infancy, early childhood, middle childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Special attention is given to attachment; relavant research methodologies; educational contexts; and the role of early and concurrent experience in shaping development at any stage. Meets with FCS 5940 (students enrolled in 6940 will be held to a higher standard of performance and will be assigned additional work).
