MGT 6830 - Entrepreneurial Counseling

This course is a five-week overview of the specific skills and knowledge sets that are required for entrepreneurial success with emerging technologies or in growth markets. This course is offered in sequence with MGT 6820: Venture Trends, and so the content varies accordingly with the topic of that class. Like MGT 6820, MGT 6830 is supervised by the Management Department but taught by faculty who will be recruited from science and industry for their specific expertise. No scientific background is required but familiarity with a fundamental set of business skills in disciplines like Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Management, and Operations is advised.
