PED 5900 - Clinical Research Methods and Practice

This is a course where students receive credit for conducting clinical research. The course involves 6 or 12 hours/week enrolling patients into clinical research studies and one hour class meetings per week pertaining to clinical research. Students who participate in this course have an opportunity to work in a clinical setting, gain exposure to clinical research and develop relationships with Department of Pediatrics faculty. Students will receive 3 credit hours for 6 hours/week clinical work or 5 credit hours for 12 hours/week.
