FA 3730 - Beginning Video Production and Editing

This course is designed to develop your skills as a video artist, and by extension, your knowledge of basic video production practices, including: camera-work, planning for and shooting a piece, logging and capturing media, editing in Final Cut Pro and Adobe After effects, and installing and projecting your work. We'll study the work or contemporary video artists, experimental filmmakers, and avant-garde installation to inform the video work you create throughout the semester.
