Like slavery, humans can abolish warfare as a legitimate means of establishing government or control over territory, ideology, religious beliefs and/or resources. Guest lecturers from various disciplines, - history, political science, philosophy, communications and sociology will be invited to lend their perspective on various topics. Formal presentations will be limited to half the class time with the other half devoted to discussion of the issues.
