LLHG 449 - The Urban Homestead

Want to be as self-sufficient as possible while still enjoying the benefits of an urban environment? In this workshop, we will show you, through slides and discussion, what you can do to provide much of your own food and energy here in the Wasatch front. We'll cover seed starting and plant propagation, food preservation and storage, beer and wine making, chicken and bee raising, hunting and foraging, water catchment, trombe walls and other solar projects, and material salvaging. Plus, chores you can do while watching a movie!
