LLMT 420 - Songwriting Workshop

Singers and musicians: Do you have thoughts, emotions, or poetry inside you that you would like to shape into lyrics for a song? In this workshop, we will look at songwriting both through its technical aspects--rhyme, word play, and structure--and through its intuitive side of inspiration. We will write, discuss, listen, question and learn from one another through in-class exercises and assignments. Bring your songs, ideas, notebooks and pens, instruments (if you have them), and desire to create and share.
