LLART 176 - Plaster Casting and Sculpture

Learn how easy it is to make beautiful and creative sculptures that can be displayed in your home as finished pieces of art. Using the medium of plaster, you will learn both casting and carving. Casting is perfect for preserving memories of loved ones; hands, feet, and even faces can be cast in complete detail. You will also enjoy the process of sculpting on an easily carved surface to create a sculpture that is as unique as the individual artist. In either case, the sculpture can be finished by adding texture, paint, or other materials. Please bring any household item that looks useful for carving or creating texture (kitchen utensils, hand tools, nails, etc.). Special fee includes all materials.
