Description
Conceptual introduction to the basic mechanisms of disease and to an understanding of the components of disease processes. Studies include cell injury and necrosis, tissue injury, acute and chronic inflammation, specific responses to infectious agents, some immunologic aspects of disease processes, neoplasia, growth disorders, and circulatory disturbances.
