LLPOT 657 - Introduction to Magic

Think magic is the province of an elite group of performers? Think again. Even Houdini had to start somewhere. In this five-week class, you'll study and practice eight simple, strong pieces of close-up magic. Along the way you'll learn some of the history of modern magic, what to do and not do when performing magic, how to build rapport with people, how to practice magic, and how to know when you're ready to perform. In addition, we'll give you sources to continue to learn magic and show you how to use magic in social, business, and personal settings. The magic tricks you learn in class will range from street-style effects to pieces fit for the corporate arena. Sean is a professional actor, entertainer, and improv comedian who has been teaching magic since 2000.
