Description
Tiny, blind termites in Africa can build a 15-foot high mound that acts just like one of your lungs. In Thailand 200,000 Asian fireflies can learn to blink together at exactly the same time. The exciting new field of complexity science studies how astonishing behaviors like these can be understood with simple rules. In this course we will explore how this works through hands-on experiments and group activities. Come prepared to have fun and be amazed.
