LLART 116 - Nature Photography

If the fine-veined lines on the underside of a leaf or the knowing gaze of a mule deer stir your imagination, learn how photography can capture your vision. From vast landscapes to tiny insects, the world of nature will be explored through weekly assignments. A Saturday or Sunday field trip (location, date, and time will be discussed in class) gives students the chance to work in the field with the instructor. Both film and digital photographers are welcome; however, digital photographers must bring prints of the work they would like to offer for class critiques. All levels are welcome; please be familiar with the basic workings of your camera.
