LLLAN 396 - A Parisian's Guide to Paris

The beautiful city of Paris is even more lovely and exciting when you look behind the scenes. Watch Paris unfold before you in this 5-week class, as we explore museums, cathedrals, street stalls, shopping, restaurants, and more. We will look beyond museum walls to their key paintings and artists; tour cobbled side streets to uncover tea and chocolate shops, flea markets, booksellers, and parks; explore neighborhoods in the Left Bank and Marais districts; and window shop along the Champs Elysees, Montmartre, and Haussman Boulevard. We will speak mostly in French; 'street French' will be included to further our exploration of the language. Appropriate for all students beyond the basic beginner level; in-class language will be tailored to participants' level.
