LLREC 650 - Avalanche Workshop

Skiers, boarders, 'shoers, and snowmobilers--get the practical information and hands-on practice you need to be ready for a safe winter of backcountry travel. Topics to be covered in class and field include snow pack, weather and terrain evaluation, safe route finding, and avalanche rescue. We will also practice transceiver search. Bruce has been guiding and instructing wilderness adventure classes since 1986 and is certified in first aid and CPR. Suitable for beginners or those wanting a refresher.
