NURS 6320 - Psychiatric/Mental Health Practicum I

Apply understanding of mental health and illness and knowledge of communication, mental health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation of clients under faculty and preceptor supervision in variety of clinical settings. Develop skills as a psychiatric/mental health nurse with individual clients. Seminars provide opportunity for students to critique clinical practice through treatment evaluation.
