LLREC 699 - Mt Timpanogos Wildflower Hike

Acres of wildflowers blanket the meadows about midpoint to Mt. Timpanogos's summit, framed by the snow-capped peaks of Timpanogos and other nearby mountains. You'll be introduced to dozens of species as we stroll through the woodland, subalpine, and alpine zones that comprise this gorgeous hike. Please be prepared for a 10-12 mile roundtrip hike on moderate terrain; wear sturdy shoes and bring lunch, water, and sunscreen. If you wish, you may continue to the summit on your own (adds about 8 miles to the roundtrip). This class is co-sponsored by Red Butte Garden.
