Description
This camp theme will seriously mess you up as you dig around to see what this crazy planet is all about. Use magnifying glasses to study the lives of creepy critters and dirt dwellers. Uncover the organisms that live at Red Butte Garden or Rockport Reservoir. Develop friendships with strange new life forms. Explore the exhibits at the Utah Museum of Natural History. We know it's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it. And that someone should be you. Can you dig it? Electives for 6-9 year olds may include using Utah Geological dinosaur kits, building sand castles, learning natural science or hiking dusty trails with animals. Electives for 10-12 year olds may include found object art, getting down with hip hop dance workshops or the taking part in a cleaner side of this 'dirty' business--kayaking in the pool!
