Description
Practical understanding of the logic and application of selected multivariate statistics provided. Areas covered are use of multivariate statistical tests in research, choosing an appropriate statistical test, and examining multivariate tests that apply to continuous and categorical dependent and independent variables. List of multivariate techniques from which a subset will be selected for examination include multiple regression, canonical correlation, loglinear regression, analysis of covariance, discriminant analysis, multivariate analysis of variance, repeated measures, factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. Emphasis placed on practical application of these statistics, use of statistical computer packages to generate output, and interpretation of such analyses.
