Description
Ready to take it to next level? Experience some serious fun and adventure in our complete ski and snowboard program for young people! U of U Youth Education supervisors will escort skiers and snowboarders to Solitude via TRAX and UTA buses. Discover the freedom and independence that comes with learning how to 'find your own ride' by using our local transportation system. Once at Solitude, intermediate and advanced students will be met by certified instructors who will supervise students throughout the morning. Students will have small group lessons from 10:00-12:15 and will be assigned one instructor throughout each session. Students determined by the staff to not have the appropriate skill level for the intermediate/advanced class will be moved to the all-day program. Cost of class includes transportation, half-day ski lessons, and all-day ski lift tickets. Students bring their lunches and ski on their own in the afternoon. Students will also be responsible for bringing or renting their own ski or snowboarding equipment in addition to meeting the busses at 3:20 p.m. to return to U of U. Students and parents will be required to attend a pre-trip orientation.
