FCS 2570 - Development, Learning & Motivation in Middle Childhood

This course will focus on the physical, social, emotional, cognitive and linguistic development characteristics of children and young adolescents (ages 5-13). Students will relate the major concepts, theories, and research associated with development of children and young adolescents to construct learning opportunities that support students' development, acquisition of knowledge, and motivation.
