LLART 109 - The Art of Photographic Seeing

Good photos are all around us, and it doesn't matter whether you capture them with a point and shoot camera or the very latest camera extraordinaire. This class is about seeing photographs, then making images that express some part of yourself and how you view the world. A review of photography's technical aspects will be included; class emphasis, however, is on composition and the art of seeing. You'll get the most out of class if your 35 mm or digital camera has manual controls. Please be familiar with the basic operation of your camera, and bring five of your photos to the first class.
