Middle East Studies is an interdisciplinary field in which the approaches and methodologies of a large number of different scholarly disciplines are employed. In this seminar you will receive an introduction to philology, linguistic theory, historiography, theories of history, political theory, international relations, comparative politics, cultural studies, women's studies, and social anthropology.
