Description
The historical origins of adoption and the emergence of openness in adoptive placements will be examined through seven key issues affecting birth parents, adoptive parents, and the adopted child. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to take part in intervention techniques aimed towards each member of the adoption triad. This workshop is applicable to anyone whose life has been touched by adoption, including practitioners seeking new and creative client intervention strategies. **Course offered Fall only**
