Description
This course will provide an overview of the structure of the psyche from a Jungian perspective. Several Jungian concepts will be defined, discussed, and explored: (1) Personal Unconscious; (2) Collective Unconscious; (3) The role of the ego in relationship to these aspects of the unconscious; (4) Development of complexes and how complexes emerge from the unconscious; and (5) Relationships between complexes and the archetypes of the collective unconscious. Experiential exercises will aid participants in understanding these ideas. **Course offered Spring only**
