Description
This is an exercise course that will involve some lecture and doing the actual exercises. It is specifically for the 50 plus population and will cover all the necessary physical movements for aging well and longevity. The importance of speed and power (think fast twitch muscle fiber) will be emphasized in this course since it is the least understood, and the least emphasized, BUT it is the modality that produces the best outcomes. The course will also cover, strength, mobility, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, and balance. Being able to get up and down on the floor on your own power is a prerequisite.
