INTMD 7450 - Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Hospitalist Elective

This is a two-week course designed for medical students who have recently matched into Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency programs. This rotation will be offered in spring 2023. Students will rotate through the University of Utah Hospital on the Internal Medicine Hospitalist service and Primary Children’s Hospital for one week each with the goal of refining their inpatient knowledge and preparing them for their upcoming internship. They will work together on a team and be directly supervised by a current Internal Medicine-Pediatric hospitalist, forming individualized learning plans to receive direct feedback.
