Description
Utah is blessed with extraordinary and beautiful geologic features. Understanding how they formed will greatly increase your enjoyment of the scenery. In this course, we will look at the fascinating interplay between the Wasatch glaciers and Lake Bonneville; the two very different ages of rivers flowing through the Wasatch; the long, long journey sand took to get to Zion NP to form the famous Navajo Sandstone; and the story of some of the largest volcanoes ever found.
